Terms and Conditions
Under no circumstances will this cat/kitten be sold, leased, given away or sold to any pet shop, research laboratory or similar facility.
This cat/kitten will be kept indoors and not allowed to roam freely outside.
The cat/kitten is guaranteed to be of sound health upon arrival, and is guaranteed for a period of 72 hours from the time of purchase. Buyer has 72 hours from the time of receiving the cat/kitten to have their licensed veterinarian examine the cat. Buyer has 72 hours to return the cat at their expense if verified to not be healthy. Written documentation from a licensed veterinarian describing the health problem must accompany the cat. Failure to have the cat examined within 72 hours of purchase will void this contract. The cat/kitten must be isolated from all other animals during this period. Failure to isolate during these 72 hours will void return policy. If you return the cat within the 72 hour period in compliance with the conditions set forth above we will refund the purchase price of the cat/kitten (minus deposit of $200) or replace the cat/kitten with one of equal value. If no replacement is available at the time of return, breeder/seller will have one year to furnish a comparable kitten/cat. No health guarantee will be honored if this cat/kitten dies of a virus from contact with another animal not bred at this cattery.
All sales are final and non-refundable 72 hours after the receipt of the cat by
Buyer, unless Seller has been notified in writing by the Buyer of
the intent to return the cat/kitten prior to the expiration of the
72 hours. All deposits are nonrefundable.
Buyer agrees to neuter or spay this kitten around
the age of 6 months. Seller agrees to provide registration papers
for this cat or kitten within 30 days upon presentation of a veterinarian's
certificate of castrating or spaying within the time period stated.
Should cat/kitten not be altered by the above date, the sum of $1000
is due to the seller.
Cats/kittens purchased as pets cannot be used for breeding. Any
kitten purchased must not be declawed. Declawing can cause many
behavioral problems to include urinating outside the litter box
and biting.
If this cat/kitten is sold as a breeder male, Buyer
agrees not to use this cat for outside stud service without written
permission of the seller. This cat/kitten cannot be shown without
written permission of the seller. Buyer agrees to raise any breeder
as pet first (in a home) so the cat can be adjusted back into a
home as a pet when it is altered. If the cat/kitten is caged it
must meet the TICA/TIBCS regulations. Any breeder/show kitten sold
must be altered and petted out when the Buyer/Breeder no longer
needs that cat in their program.
If the Buyer cannot keep a cat/kitten
purchased from the Seller at a later date, Seller will do the best
to relocate the cat/kitten at the Buyers expense provided that it
is healthy and able to adjust to a new home.
Buyer agrees to give
cat/kitten proper medical care including proper vaccinations on
a schedule determined to be proper by a certified veterinarian.
It is the Buyers responsibility to provide immediate veterinary
care to any cat/kitten showing signs of illness or distress and
failure to do so will render any guarantee null and void.
If at any time this cat/kitten is found to be neglected and/or
mistreated the seller reserves the legal right to remove the animal
from the premises and the Buyer will surrender said animal and appropriate
papers to the seller unconditionally and without compensation or
refund. Neglect shall include, but is not limited to: being left
alone without human companionship for periods in excess of 72 hours;
lack of proper sanitary facilities; being caged; poor diet; poor
health, and otherwise poor condition. Mistreatment shall include,
but is not limited to: lack of proper food, lack of water and physical
abuse.
If cat/kitten is to be transported (inside the
USA) to the Buyer, the Buyer will pay the cost of transportation,
crate and vetted health certificate. Seller agrees to pay for regular
vaccinations needed at that time.
The purpose of this contract is
to protect all parties concerned, mainly the cat/kitten. This contract
is legally binding to all parties involved. It applies only to the
Buyer and Seller in this transaction and is non-transferable to
other parties. Your signature below acknowledges you as the Buyer
and that you understand and agree to all terms of this contract.
